application. It is helpful when there is no proper transmission of
signals. Types of television antennas:There are many types of TV antennas. Some of the common TV antennas are, HDTV antennas, dipole antennas, stacked antennas, reflector antennas, log periodic dipole arrays, and Yagi antenna, which is called as a magical antenna. A dipole antenna is the simplest antenna. A dipole has a positive gain. This does not radiate equally in all the directions. A stacked dipole has two dipoles. It has a gain of 8.15 dBi. A LPDA has many dipoles arranged in echelon and crisis-cross fed from the front. It has got its name from the geometric growth. It is a logarithmic term. It is a wideband antenna. It can have a gain up to 7 dBi. Most of the VHF Televisions have LPDA antennas.
