Antennas:

Antennas are the electronic devices used for transmission and reception of electromagnetic or radio waves. Basically an antenna is an arrangement of aerial electrical conductors. They convert radio frequency electrical currents into electromagnetic waves and vice versa. Antennas have wide range of uses. They are used in the systems such as radio and television broadcasting, radio communications, radar, and space exploration. Many of the antennas work in open air or open space. The new technology has made them to work under water, through the soil, and rock to certain frequencies of short distances. Antennas are also called as an arrangement of conductors generating a radiating electromagnetic field in response to an applied alternating voltage and the associated alternating electric current.


Antenna transmission:

Antenna transmission is nothing but sending radio waves through an antenna. Maximum power rating transmission can be done through an antenna. Antenna tuning helps in proper transmission of signals. Adjusting an inductance or capacitance combined with the antenna can do this. But the adjustment of inductance or capacitance changes the resonance of antenna. A vertical antenna transmits better than a horizontal antenna. The transmission of signals also depends on the place of the antenna. As the high the position is the high and clear transmission of signals.


Factors affecting antenna transmission:

There are many factors that affect antenna transmission. It depends on many features such as the shape of the antenna, place of the antenna, and proper earthling. An antenna should be designed such that it should be easy for it to receive and transmit the signals. A vertical antenna transmits better than the horizontal antenna. By placing the antenna at high position it is possible for it to receive the good signals that are not mixed with the polluted environment. Pollution affects transmission of signals. Sometimes the obligatory signals get mixed up with the other signals. These affect the transmission of antenna. If there is a proper earthling then it leads to proper transmission of signals. Because most of the electromagnetic waves that are emitted by an antenna to the ground below the antenna at moderate angles of incidence enter the earth. These are absorbed by earth.
